Numerous US Army installations once existed in and around Seoul City and in the Province of Gyeonggi which received logistical support from US Army Garrison Yongsan under its several designations, i.e., Seoul Area Command (SAC), Yongsan District Command (YDC), Yongsan and Area III as well as a revised designation, Yongsan and Area II, and US Army Yongsan Garrison. There were about 27 installations plus or minus, but that number has decreased over the years as USFK and 8th US Army continued to consolidate units on remaining installations and return the former installations to the Republic of Korea Government. A partial list included the following camps: The main installations of course included Yongsan Garrison Main and South posts and the adjacent Camp Coiner. Nearby are or were the following installations or camps: Camp Kim (formerly Supply Point 51); UNC Compound; Taxi Compound; Sobinggo Compound; 8th US Army Religious Retreat Center (Namsan) and Camp Morse (AFN Radio & TV broadcast antenna on Namsan); Hannam Village & Niblo Barracks; District Engineer Compound (Ulchi-ro, 5-ga); Naija Hotel AFRC Compound; Supply Point 39 in Wangsimni (MWR warehouse); Camp Kim (KSC Detachment northeast of Seoul near Korean Military Academy); Camp Nabors (65th Medical Group, near Walker Hill Hotel); Camp Colbern (Hanam-si); Yongdongpo=gu: Camp Roberts, Camp Baker (USFK Milk Plant) and Camp Gray Annex; K-16 (Seoul Airport on Yoido) relocated to Sungnam; Seongnam Golf Course; CP TANGO; CSCT#3 (III ROKA in Yongin); K14 (Kimpo Airport Army Postal Unit); Camp Richard (Hanger); Camp Mercer; Camp Richmond; ; Camp Market (adjacent to ASCOM Depot); Camp Howard (Anyang); Camp Handrich; and Koryosan ASA.
